Bharat Bhushan shikshan, yuvak kalyan, krida, sanskrutik mandal shelu b.k. is a Non- Goverment, Non- Political and Non- Profit voluntary organisation. It is registered under society act and registeration no is mah/3302/ F/2481Akl and Bharat Bhushan is central Govt. & Mah Govt. approved organisation. It was established in 1991 with the committment to change the social lifestyle of the rural area.
Bharat Bhushan is working in whole Maharastra specially in Akola dis trict. Bharat Bhushan operates in Maharastra working with rural poor in selected areas to achieve their selfreliance and collaborates with the various local, na tional NGO and Govt. Department in religing their common goal of rural develop ment.
Bharat Bhushan’s Objectives :- Bharat Bhushan has set the following objec` tives to achieve its goal :-
1) Bharat Bhushan is working in rural areas with the committment that how the lifestyle of rural be changed, where every human being has equal opportunity to maximise their potentialities.
2) To assist disadvantaged men, women and children in organising themsel to avail increased opportunities of education , health, employment and income as to enhance their role in the decision making process.
3) To support human resource development through education and training specially for the women adolescents and children.
4) To assist Govt. how to penitrate the problems of water scarcity in rural areas.
5) To assist the community how to get sustainable water supply ex. safe drinking water with the assistance from Rural Water Supply and Sanititation (Pilot Project)
6) Bharat Bhushan has partially succeeded to eliminate open defection prac tices in rural araea due to lack of safe drinking water facilities and water borne diseases cause a large number of deaths, particularlly amongst children in India each year. Bharat Bhushan provides facilitation support to community people so that they are capable to identify their problem, plan, activities to wards achiveing 100% sanitation.
7) To stop open defection practices in rural area, Bharat Bhushan is fully bound to make them aware of hygienic problems and how to improve helth and sanitary conditions.
8) Bharat Bhushan organises various trainings work shops personality develop ment classes to improve the status of urban as well as rural student of each categories.
The Completed Activities :-
To achive the objectives and translate the belif into reality Bharat Bhushan undertaken the following programmes :-
1) Bharat Bhushan is working in Akola districts on sector Reform Pilot Project means Rural Water Supply and Sanitation with the help Zilla Parishad. Bharat Bhushan is actual implementing agency and approved NGO to implement various GOI.& Govt. of Maharastra’s aiaded programmes. Thus Bharat Bhushan is implementing above project in Akola Zilla Parishad.
2) Bharat Bhushan , apart from pilot projects undertakes trainings for Gram panchayat members in district Akola Zilla parishad .
3) Bharat Bhushan’s skilled staff is associated and working with district Rural Development Agency.
4) Bharat Bhushan undertakes personality development classes for the college students.
5) Bharat Bhushan also implementing Reprodective Child health Programme in Barshitakali tahshil district Akola with the help of Bharat Bhushan’s S.H.G.
6) Bharat Bhushan has implementing primary of National Watershed Develop ment Programme .
Bharat Bhushan Future’s Planning :-
1) To run various types of counseling centre on familly health and human re sources.
2) To assist the rural people in Total sanitation campaign.
3) To run Reproductive Child health programe with the assistance from Govt. , semi Govt.
4) TO run Blood donation camp and other various types of camps for health related activitities.
5) To run awarness campaign for Pulse Polio.
6) To implement Aids awareness campaign.
Bharat Bhushan is commited & determined to act & implement above fo the next two years. The executive body of the organisation, al having vast expirience in the fild rural development, & watershed development. So that Bharat Bhushan is capable implementing any type of watershed development programme.
